Voting has already begun and will conclude during the airing of the show, hosted by Cedric the Entertainer, on Tuesday, November 22 at 8:00 PM ET on the ABC Television Network. T-Mobile Text Messaging customers — as well as viewers voting on ABC’s web site (www.abc.com, Keyword: AMA) — can choose from nominees Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, 50 Cent, Green Day, Toby Keith, and Gwen Stefani. The winner will be revealed during the live telecast of the special.

T-Mobile subscribers will be able to vote by sending the letter corresponding to their favorite artist (“A” for Mariah Carey, “B” for Kelly Clarkson, “C” for 50 Cent, “D” for Green Day, “E” for Toby Keith, or “F” for Gwen Stefani) to the short code 262 (“AMA”). Standard text messaging charges apply for text messaging a vote. Each entry will be counted towards the T-Mobile Text-In Award and will be cumulated in conjunction with the Web-based voting up until the presentation of the award.

What is he doing, and why is he always available when you need something? You were talking to yourself saying you wanted coffee, and there he is a few minutes later with your favorite brew. You’re upset with your lady friends for blowing you off, and there he is offering to keep you company. Notice this: He will make crazy attempts to make you laugh.

He’s constantly fighting for your approval.
Whenever you ask him what he thinks about something, he’ll say whatever you say. You’re totally in love with Josh Groban (whom he hates because he’s into rock) but when you gush, he says Josh Groban is the man. If you hate a colleague from work, he tells you he’d hate it too. Quarter Life Crisis, the debut album from LA’s newest female pop singer-songwriter, Arden Kaywin, has recently been made available thru major online retail outlets February 21, 2006, courtesy of PEGA Records. Kaywin is that rare combination of a gifted songwriter with the vocal talent to match. Her songwriting abilities have a top 40 sensibility while maintaining honesty and a depth of lyrical insight. Kaywin’s musical style is often compared to Alanis Morissette, Kelly Clarkson and Sarah McLachlan while maintaining an original sound and integrity of her own.

All songs from Quarter Life Crisis were written by Kaywin and are an ode to her personal exploration of the questions many post college graduates ask themselves after being thrust into the real world, only to realize that it is not what they expected.

The CD was produced by Rudy Haeusermann (Lisa Marie Presley, Kimberly Locke) and mixed by Grammy nominee Rob Jacobs (Shakira, Alanis Morissette, Bon Jovi).

The opening track, “Me With Me,” was nominated for Pop Song of the Year by the Independent Music Awards and has been featured on the WB Network’s new hit show, “Related.” Recently, Arden was chosen by Napster to be part of their Artist in Residence program and was also the featured artist on Napster’s Pop page, making her the first unsigned artist to have been given such exposure on Napster.

Over the past year Kaywin has performed at local venues around southern California and has graced the stage of landmark venues such as House of Blues, The Mint, Hotel Café, and The Viper Room. She recently made her New York City debut to a packed house at the popular Living Room nightclub in the East Village. Arden is currently preparing for her US tour in support of Quarter Life Crisis with tour dates to be announced soon.
